Supply chain

Optimize component documentation and qualification.

For those qualifying suppliers and components where every part needs a pedigree: LEDGER and CORTEX make qualification and component documentation traceable end-to-end, from the tier-two vendor to installation. Less chasing missing certificates, more evidence ready when the regulator asks.

02The problem

A component's quality is proven with paper that arrives late.

Material certificates, non-destructive testing, melt traces and supplier qualifications live in emails, PDFs and separate systems across several tiers. An incomplete dossier blocks an acceptance or, worse, surfaces on site; certificate counterfeiting (CFSI) is a real risk exactly where safety is everything.

03What it does04
01

Traceable supplier qualification

LEDGER holds the qualification status of every supplier and sub-supplier, with expiries, audits and non-conformances tied to the components in their scope.

02

Component pedigree

Each part carries its material certificates, NDT and processing traces, linked to lot and order: the history is reconstructable in a click, not a week.

03

Automated document control

CORTEX checks component dossiers for completeness and consistency against requirements, flagging missing or inconsistent certificates before acceptance.

04

Counterfeit defense

Provenance and cross-checked certificates help intercept suspect items (CFSI) before they enter the qualified chain.

04How it works04 STEPS
01

Qualify

Register and assess suppliers and sub-suppliers in LEDGER.

02

Collect

Each component accumulates certificates and traces along the supply.

03

Verify

CORTEX checks dossiers for completeness and consistency.

04

Accept

The part reaches site with its full pedigree in hand.

05Architecture

Two products to make every component demonstrable: LEDGER holds supplier qualification and component pedigree end-to-end, CORTEX checks dossiers for completeness and consistency before acceptance. VAULT preserves the trace for the plant's life.

01LEDGER: qualification and pedigreeHolds the qualification status of suppliers and sub-suppliers and the pedigree of each part, material certificates, NDT, processing traces, linked to lot and order.
02CORTEX: document controlChecks component dossiers for completeness and consistency against requirements and intercepts missing, inconsistent or suspect (CFSI) certificates before acceptance.
03VAULT: component archivePreserves the compliance file of every installed component for the plant's whole life, reconstructable in a click.
06Deployment

Multi-tier cloud with supplier access

Suppliers and sub-suppliers upload certificates and test reports into isolated areas, without seeing each other's data, while the buyer has visibility across the whole chain.

On-prem with ERP connectors

Instance inside the buyer's perimeter with connections to ERP and procurement (SAP, Oracle), for those keeping supply data within their own infrastructure.

07Security & compliance

Supplier isolation

Each supplier sees only its own perimeter: a vendor's commercial data and certificates are never visible to others, even when working on the same component.

Counterfeit defense (CFSI)

Provenance and automatically cross-checked certificates flag suspect items before they enter the qualified chain, a real risk exactly where safety is everything.

Audit-ready evidence

The compliance file is generated on demand under NQA-1 and ISO 9001, with no preparation: the evidence is already complete, consistent and dated.

Record integrity

Certificates and test reports are sealed at ingestion with a timestamp, so a document cannot be replaced after the fact without a trace.

09FAQ

Do suppliers have to adopt our tools?

No. Suppliers access a dedicated web area to upload certificates and reports in a structured way, verified against order requirements. They don't need to integrate their own systems, only to deliver documentation in the required format.

Does it cover multiple sub-supply tiers?

Yes. LEDGER tracks the chain of custody from the tier-two vendor to installation, with origin and transformations recorded at each lot. A part's history is reconstructable in a click, not a week.

What stops an acceptance on incomplete documentation?

CORTEX checks the component dossier against requirements before acceptance and flags missing or inconsistent certificates: the part doesn't pass until the evidence is complete, so the goal of zero acceptances on incomplete documentation is enforced, not just hoped for.

Does it connect to the site?

Yes. Qualified components and their pedigree flow into CADENCE when they reach the site and into VAULT as a lifecycle archive, so the part enters work with its history already complete and verified.
