For general information you may write to info@zeklar.com; for any request concerning your personal data and the exercise of your rights, write to privacy@zeklar.com.
2 · Data we collect
Waitlist signup data: email address, sport of interest, and role (athlete, coach, club) that you provide when you sign up.
Contact form data: name, email address, and the content of the message you send us.
Technical and log data: minimal browsing data (for example, IP address, browser and device type, date and time of access) necessary for the operation, stability, and security of the site.
3 · Purposes and legal bases
Managing your waitlist signup and informing you about the development and launch of the products (legal basis: consent of the data subject, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Responding to your enquiries and managing communications with you (legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request and legitimate interest in replying to the requests received, Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Ensuring the security of the site and complying with legal obligations (legal basis: legitimate interest and legal obligation, Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4 · Recipients and processors
Data is neither sold nor disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes. It may be processed on our behalf by providers acting as data processors under appropriate agreements.
Hosting: the site is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes data as a processor under its Terms and its data processing agreement (DPA).
Analytics: we use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless statistics tool hosted in the European Union that collects no personal data, does not track users across sites, and provides only aggregated, anonymous data.
5 · International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers take place only where appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR are in place, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
You may request further information about the safeguards adopted by writing to privacy@zeklar.com.
6 · Retention and security
We keep data for as long as needed for the stated purposes: waitlist data until consent is withdrawn or the signup is cancelled; contact data for as long as needed to handle the request and within the applicable legal time limits.
We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and data minimisation — to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
7 · Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and objection, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You may exercise these rights by writing to privacy@zeklar.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
8 · Minors and changes to this policy
The service is not directed to children under 16: signup by a minor requires the consent or authorisation of the holder of parental responsibility. If we become aware that we have collected a minor's data without such consent, we will delete it.
We may update this policy to reflect regulatory or organisational changes. The current version is always published on this page, showing the date of last update.
