Does every contractor have to change its tools?
No. CADENCE federates data from designers, EPCs and suppliers through standard exchange formats (IFC, BCF, ISO 19650) and connectors to scheduling tools like Primavera P6. Contractors keep their own systems and share into the common environment.
How is rework from superseded revisions cut?
All partners read the same approved revision: when it changes, it changes for everyone at once and the prior version is locked. No one builds from a disconnected copy anymore, the most common cause of nonconformities discovered after the fact.
